Which is a better strategy :

Returns in Nifty Futures from inception till today's market close i.e almost 13+ years :
01. 98 Trades : 19900 points profit. Max loss at a stretch : 345 points.

02. 322 Trades : 32200 points profit. Max loss at a stretch : 843 points.

03. 322 trades as at serial 2 above but with 2 lots and one lot exited at 50 points : 42600 points profit. Max loss at a stretch : 196 points.

Prefer Serial 3. If the Strategy is same at 2 and 3, and max consecutive loss comes down to 196 points, can we assume that booking 1 lot at 50 points really helped and more so during the "loosing" period.
Another thing : As you have put forward results from 2000, the NF at that time was ~1000 or less too, did you analyse on the basis of booking first lot at 50 points then also? Now its ~6000 and still booking first lot at 50 points??
Did you try with booking first lot at a certain percentage, say 1% with max being 50 points or also a minimum say 20 points! Just the chain of thoughts that occurred when I read your post and have expressed them !

good insight.

Mr.Nifty trader, whatever your margins, but I would like to share that. If to trade positional, is it possible to analyse the stocks' buy/sell zones?

Hi. I'm not sure I understand your question. Apologies for the late reply. I'm not very active on the forum these days.
