can I get the full list of nse stocks directly from the nseindia website ? If so then how ? what is the web query string ??

Thanks for the pointer, I used CoolRC by CoolWorks today, but I couldn't get real-time quotes into AB though I was logged into Yahoo. Please help me understand if there is something I have to do differently.

web query from yahoo gives you 15 min delayed quote if not logged in and real time quotes when logged in. web query from nse gives you 3 min late quote. but the excel can be rereshed only once a minute. if you want every 3 sec, then you need to write macros

Getting nse quotes in excel is clearly shown here http://hubpages.com/hub/gettingthebestofmarket. You will have to either refresh the connection to update the data or you can set interval time to autoupdate

Getting live quotes from yahoo and google is very easy and excel can be populated for the same.

does anyone know how to get data from ODIN watchlist? i can share the program with you all for free if someone tells me the steps to do so.
