Hi,
I am directly investing with the AMC to save costs - no broker or agent.

If I do redemption units of Mutual Fund after 1 year ....Can AMC charge any amount for redemption ?

will there be any redemption service charge / transaction charge ?

Once you are beyond the exit-load period (normally 1 year), there are no further charges while redeeming units. However, in the case of equity funds, there is a Securities Transaction Tax that is deducted.

STT is levied on the value of taxable securities as under:
Purchase/sale of equity shares, units of equity oriented mutual funds (delivery based) @ 0.1%.
Sale of equity shares, units of equity oriented mutual fund (non-deliverery based) @ 0.025% paid by seller.
