Keep investment shares in different demat account and do not disturb then for atleast 1 year. Investment and trading scrips should be different. A trader can invest and no law prohibits trader from investing but keep trading and investment at arm's length and clearly identifiable...then you can claim exumption on LT capital gains made on shares .In you IT return you can declare investments and trading scrips separately.
