is it legal to use foreign brokers like iqoptions in India?

I'm interested in binary options and i was wondering if its legal to use any of the foreign brokers like iqoptions by an Indian resident? I could infer that forex trading is banned by RBI, but is it legal to do binary options on Indices / foreign equities?
