Intraday transactions are the transactions which will be squared off at the end of the day. (i.e), if you buy ABC shares at 10.00 A.M. under intraday, irrespective of profit or loss, the same has to be sold by the end of the day. Profit or loss will be transferred to your account.

Under delivery transactions, you can buy the shares and pay for them and take delivery into you demat account.

Only some of the shares can be transacted through intraday transactions.
