RBI infact permits forex trading and has been making special provisions for the same since 1978.

A more detailed review of www.rbi.org will give you more facts than just blog entries to gain traffic.

You should check your facts before opening your big mouth publicly.

And FYI, the said link was from economic times e paper.

Many people wanted to know always because RBI was not clear on its stand. They loved ambiguity. Its the first time ever that they have spelled it out pretty clearly that it is not permissible.
