Incable Mumbai / New Cable TV Receiver

Folks,

Subscribers to Incable in Mumbai are getting a message to upgrade to new receivers on payment of Rs. 500. My receiver is working fine, except for the interruption of repeated messages to upgrade. My question :

* Is it necessary to upgrade?

* Has any Incable subscriber has changed the receiver? It seems there are multiple receivers, any idea which is the good one?

Have you upgraded one already ? If you do want that interruption ads to dissappear you probably will need to do that anyway. Are you agree with me here or not ? And which model have they provided in the end for that matter anyway. Are you agree ?
