I have been trying to use margin trading feature of ICICI direct. But to me it appeared that they allow margin buys after 10 minutes of market opening. Before that it is simply not possible to do a margin trade. For eg. market opens at 9:50, then I am allowed the margin buy only by 10:00. Is this observation correct?
Is there a way around because by then any stock would have touched its day high and it is not much use to put in money in this risky venture.
