I am planning to buy advanced get in 10 days. Please help

Hi Traders,

I bought metastock software with ATM add on. 50 times in a day it hangs.

Also not always rule based trading works. With few trades hitting stop loss, I decided to upgrade and found that Advanced Get is what which is left in the market.

For 3 reasons I am keen on going for Advanced Get
1] It shows the waves. Riding 2 to 3 wave gives much higher return
2] It shows the target
3] It also shows the time period in which the projected price will be reached.

Demo wise everything looks fine, like the same way Metastock looked.

I want some input from traders who have been using Advanced Get.
Few questions
1] Are you making good amount using the Advanced GET ruled based system.
2] What shortcomings you found in the software
3] Do you recommend new traders to go for it
4] Is it better than the other softwares available in the market.

I don't know about other softwares. Personally I used Amibroker and it was best. Never Hangs and you can write AFL to tweak it yourself or you can ask someone to help you with it.

I personally don't think mechanically it can be traded profitably.

3] Do you recommend new traders to go for it
No

4] Is it better than the other softwares available in the market.

I agree with MSN1979, Amibroker is by far the best Charting software. It is highly flexible in use & you can backtest your strategies before committing money to trades. Do research more about Amibroker , if it fits your trading style.

aget is a wonderful software. its rule based trading system software. you cannot make custom indicators or any other thing. for tht you have to contact esignal. not much customization is possible.
its a complete system in itself but not holygrail just like any other good system it also gives losses. but if you are discipline enough and regularly attend aget seminars and follow its system completely that there is very high probability of you making consistent profits.
down side is its very costly i think its somewhere $3500 real time data gdfl and truedata is providing. instead of outrightly buying it take the demo first and see whether it suits your requirements or not.

Just saw price of GET ..around 25000+ per month in esignal...too much for retailers
