Please forgive me if you feel bad about my advice.....Please do not trade live unless you tripled your demo account.

Silver is the toughest one to trade.. start off with a easier one to trade.. or rather.. choose the ones which are trending best.. actually by way of that argument, silver is finally trending again after months of sideways non trending moves.. but volatility is very high. would advice you as a novice to avoid silver and start with crude or copper.. copper is good as it also is trending up very nicely currently..

And chart for the same:

Its good to keep a view on this index for your long term longs. While all the indices across world went up in Jan, BDI has been going down.

Last weeks fall in this index can be attributed to Chinese new year, but fall from October till date is alarming, BDI is telling a different story. It would be interesting to see how things will pan out when major importer/exporter will be back on from next week. So, keep a close eye on SSE and HSI.

PS: What is BDI? http://founduseful.com/baltic-dry-index-an-understanding/
