how much profit/loss are expected in day trading with an investmest of 1 lakh

#1
I recently started trading(again) with 70k and with 1 paisa brokerage .....
what will be the profit/loss in a day i need to target ?

Last week , i consistently received profits as below ...
day1 9 July : 63.08
day2 10 July : 269.43
day3 11 July : 571.37
day4 12 July : 717.08
day5 15 July : 623.90

All the above are profits after deducting brokerage and multiple taxes which i never understood. I have to agree/accept that i got the above profits only due to luck ...

i use averaging down strategy ... and one day when the market goes against my trades , i may be ending up with losses with will be beyond the combined profits of all the above .

Suggest me the amount of profit / loss i need to stick for a day ...

Note :
my exposure is 1:6
I deal with only NSE/BSE cash segments and strictly intraday (i prefer sleeping with a hope that i dont lose anything while in sleep).

PS : i declared myself a trading "off day" today ......

From RULES for intraday tarding........:)
1.NEVER AVERAGE INTO LOSING TRADES
2.NEVER TAKE EXPOSURE OF BROKERS IF YOU ARE NEW TO TRADING
3.ALWAYS USE SOME MONEY MANAGEMENT RULE..FOR SURVIVING IN TRADING
Many more are in this forum ...dig it you can find...:)

Will try to avoid exposure .... however without exposure i fear that i will be ending up with losses.
Donot use exposure with initial position. Once the trade becomes profitable, you can use exposure to add to your already profitable position.

So, a big NO.........for exposure for your initial position how lucrative ever the trade may look like.

If you disobey this rule, you will get erased from the market sooner or later.

Anyway all the best.
