2008 . I also witnessed replay of it on 13 March 2020 . The huge difference was closing of market thanks to forced buying from DIIs. I was damn sure that LIC shall have to jump in to support the market and that's why I didn't squared of short position of Nifty 8500 put . Ultimately it gave profit. The point is that to become successful traders TA is not enough . You must have knowledge about manipulations. As per SEBI data DII have poured Rs.5868 crores on Friday . I am damn sure that the large chunk must be from LIC.
