I am new to trading..
I have tried intraday trading before and as usual like any other novice , made huge losses.
So this time i want to learn and build my knowledge before i start trading.
I have been trying to lean metastock and did some backtesting on the performance systems provided with metastock on the equity scrips.
I also want to learn new trading methods so i am trying to understand the techniques here.
But all the threads seem to be very old , so I want to ask a question that whether these techniques are obsolete or they are still effective in today's market .
also i will be grateful if any senior members could guide me to some threads from where I can learn about effective techniques which are still useful in today's markets
