I'm a new trader who has just gotten into direct investment. My dad used to be a very active investor for last 40 years.
I thought i will take a small budget and begin investing myself and test some of the ideas.
The big idea i'm looking to develop is the India story. Many of you may recall the 1996-2000, 2003-2009 periods when Indian domestic market (I didnt look at stock market at that time) grew really well. My thesis we are at the early stages of a similar period again.
This time the sectors should be defence, capital goods, banking and perhaps others.
I'm looking for identifying those 12-15 stocks in sectors that I can invest steadily over next 2 years...
