For all those who want to enter this field professionally, to get in a reputed broking house on for the research post is quite a tough job, without any experience they won't take you in, even a degree of CFA, MBA or CMT etc won't help you that much because the job profile requires a deep understanding of market and performance which won't come unless you spend at least 2-4 years(years may vary from person to person, it can be more). And technical research area is very overcrowded you won't get high pay here as you may think as initial pay is very low and upside is limited and believe me you have to perform like everyday, in other word its a very demanding job. Entry is difficult and survival of fittest is the rule here, if you are willing to take chances and serious about it then welcome to this world.
