Yes, you can transfer the amount to paypal id: sahilgupta29[At]gmail.com
Sahil,
Tried to use paypal but transfer was rejected with the following message:

"We're sorry. We're not able to complete personal payments to account holders in India at this time."

I used family/friends option. Should I use goods/services option? Paypal will deduct their fees if use goods/services option.

Yeah, I got no issues with you using goods/services option. :)

Hi everyone,

Due to a lot of ppl asking for it, I've been looking into Real time data feed.

Seems like many have tried and failed to provide a good, reliable solution.
Do you guys use any of JoshRT, ManshiRT or Shubha Downloader for Real Time analysis?
What are the main issues faced in using these existing solutions?

Also, how good/accurate is Yahoo finance data?

However, I have also written two blog posts which explain how to import data downloaded using Hakija in MetaStock and FCharts.
These can be accessed at http://hakija.posterous.com/. Direct the newbies to this site!
I will use your instructions to create another post on using AmiBroker. :)

Hi Sahil

Though your blog http://hakija.posterous.com is no longer available, but I somehow was able to look at it.
But the problem is, I could not be able to lay my hand on the images that you have posted in the two tutorials.

So can you please upload these 2 posts again, with images, here or somewhere else (like 4shared etc).

Yeah, I migrated that blog to http://hakija-downloader.tumblr.com/, some time back, but it looks like there was some problem with migrating the images.
I don't have a back up of those images, so can't upload them again.

The instructions to import to MetaStock were pretty standard. One can follow any other software's tutorial for ASCII files.

Hi,

I have removed the delivery data columns.

You can get the fixed file from:

Let me know if you face any issues.

Dear Sahil

Thanks for the downloader HAKIJA

I downloaded and tried to download data using Hakija
But I am facing a problem OR it download data in a similar way.

I put a date range of about 6 months and click download
But it downloaded data for 1 day only.
I tried with different range and dates but able to download data for 1 day only, at a time

IMO, it will be a pain to download data for 1 day at a time.

Kaydee,
That's how it works at the moment. It's a limitation of how NSE provides data on their website for free download.
Downloading for 6 months is a one time pain(should take around 15minutes). Just set it for download and go watch TV.

But after that one time bulk operation, data would in any way need to downloaded on a daily basis. And that takes just about 3-4 seconds a day.

If you like Hakija, please consider donating. :)
