Growth Or Dividend Payout Option for ELSS funds?

Hello friends.
I went through over many articles online regarding growth vs Dividend payout. I understand that ELSS funds are locked for 3 years so I cannot get my money back if needed for emergency. Hence I am thinking to Choose Dividend-Payout (not dividend reinvistment) SO that I can get some profit. If the money is not required, I can manually invest in ELSS or other Equity funds for growth.

Is this the correct method?
Thanks.

Better to go with GROWTH option
and
also go for direct plans, (less expanse ratio) return are better than regular plans

No problem.
Thanks anyways.

I think i'll buy 1 fund in growth & 1 in DIV-Payout.
Best of both worlds eh?

Thinking about BSL tax relief 96 & DSP BR Tax saving fund.
