When you sell a stock within one year and buy a new one,that will attract short term capital gain.....any thought on that ?or you plan to hold it for minimum 1 year to make it LTG except in cases where you think that the selection is wrong and you want to get out irrespective of taxation ?

I would like to go with direction irrespective of the taxes or anything except hat i have taken into account about all the taxes
 
Some of the mid cap funds which were sold to book LTCG in Mid Jan are available at lower NAV now though the index has gone up from that time.....

Will be buying these again today as I dont expect a big dent in the market ( not over 250 nifty points) even if the holding period for LTCG is increased from 1 to 2 or 3 years....introducing LT Cap Gain tax does not make much sense for the Govt looking at the huge difficulty in collecting that tax...
