why there is so much hullabooluu for leakage of aadhaar data. all relevant data is there in the mkt of majority of indians before aadhaar also. and data has been sold multiple times to banks, nbfcs insurance, political parties to name a few.
right to privacy and private data such things are not relevant in India. in 500 bucks you can get aadhaar without any document i have seen this personally at aadhaar center and and each and every bank employee knows this and take advantage of this. its been going on for years, if somebody thinks his infor/data is secure than its his fault not govt.

Then why so much money spent by Government on such futile data ? It was Public Money ..

its not about getting new adhaar. getting hold of others is risky with potential of financial scam, illegal bank transfer etc
