Time bomb is the right word. It was ticking already for long time. There was rumour of 19 Nov resignation before.

He is also a paid govt servant....labour laws says you can't force someone to work if he resigns for personal reasons....Pvt companies this thing not possible for director level people unless they are sacked for fraud/sabotage reasons

Tomorrow has all the makings of a big volatile day, with a good chance to buy good companies at corrected prices, probably best chance before the new year dawns.

If you guys remember the market's reaction to previous big news events, you will remember that the index bounced up strongly after initial downmove .. surgical strike, demonetization etc.

So maybe the market is preparing to throw a googly tomorrow.

Maybe the followers of EW, fibonacci etc will have something to predict about that.
