Bulls will try to break 8500 so as to force the bears to cover their short positions. 8500 has large OI and till yesterday 8500 was looking a bit challenging so the bears are not prepared for NF above 8500.

Expecting large volatility above 8500.

From last 3 days, news analysts are saying if we have to see beyond 8500 that should come as a gap, as still there are uncovered short positions in market.. but will there be any who would still be holding shorts after a sweet rally from 8000 - 8500. Even few days back we had a gap down opening at 8200 and another rally to 8500..??

Maybe those who trade by the monthly charts

by FII data, there were sellers when market formed bottom near 7950 and rallied to 8400, but after the recent dip and rally from 8200-8500 they are becoming net buyers slowly..
Maybe they sold JP associates that time and yesterday maybe they bought Indusind bank/kotak bank :D

A wild guess
Soon a settlement between bulls and bears
