Finvasia

Hi @curiousv, It depends on the broker and we advise for 50% cash. In case of option selling, you need to clear your debit balance within 5 days else your shares may be sold on 5th day as per SEBI guidelines.

You can use for MIS and NRML.

When you say money against client shares, we understand you are referring to intraday margin against shares. We do not charge any interest if you need margin to trade intraday. Thanks
I am still confused about this...is it your must rule that in option selling 50% of required margin must come from cash ?
For example if my trade requires 100k - 50k must come from cash and 50k can come from my collateral margin(margin after haircut against my shares in your CCA account) What is your rule/policy on this...I understand you would prefer that but what is your rule/policy and if client does not have 50% cash but have more than required collateral margin ...do you charge interest ?

Leverage for most of the cash stocks are 1x , very few are 2x. It is pointless to take intraday position with so little leverage. At least provide 5x leverage.

If it is going to be this way, there is no point trading with you.

6. Square OFF Timing for MIS, CO, BO Orders: Current month Future contracts shall be squared off at the usual time of 3.25 PM.

The policy shall be implemented from the June Expiry Month contracts onwards. Happy Trading !
Lets say I sold put as NRML and its in the money i.e. that I have to take delivery. Now do I need 100% cash in my account ? or I can have collateral margin lets say 90% and 10% cash ..will that work ?

BEST is best in lagging a lot. Suppose I am scalping an option for 0.5 paisa or a rupee, time between placing and accepting order wipes out profits I could have made. Good for OTM and low volumes strikes and not for expiry day play. Even if you want to cancel, it takes half a minute. I have to run both Z's patang and BEST, one for market depth and charts and BEST for order. Waise free main itna hi milega so no issues as I am not frequent trader.
