Finvasia

How can I sell these shares now?
If you have not submitted POA then you need to transfer these shares to Finvasia's BO account using CSDL easiest a day before you intend to sell. Once you do this you will be able to view these shares in your trading terminal and then you can sell. Once you sell, shares will be transferred from Finvasia's BO account to pool account. You will be charged for this.
If you do not sell the shares the same will be transferred back to your demat account.

Hi, what margin would be required to sell 1 lot nifty, and 1 lot bank nifty?
Due to the extreme volatility in the market, exchange has changed VAR and ELM in various stocks. Therefore, we are currently providing intraday limits based on scrip wise exchange margin in the cash segment. Please refer to this link- https://www1.nseindia.com/products/content/equities/equities/homepage_eq.htm for details on the intraday limits that we currently offer under our basic plan

We understand the role that additional intraday margin plays but in these unprecedented times there is a need to manage risk more diligently. Therefore, we are not offering our Bronze, Silver & Platinum leverage plans in any segment until further notice.

Please refer to the image below for details on current limits.

Kindly note that we are working on a new leverage plan that we will inform clients shortly. Please feel free to reach out to our support team for additional queries.

Stay Safe. Thanks

Finvasia's motive behind blocking / banning buy orders questionable !

It is well-known fact that exchanges usually put stocks where investor participation (by unique PAN) is less in T, X, Z etc groups and in ASM, to prevent price manipulation, and to forewarn prospective investors in these stocks to take informed decision, and NOT to ban buying these stocks.

Finvasia banned even CNC buy orders in these stocks (despite being backed by ready funds in client accounts). Why shouldn't this be seen as Finvasia abetting manipulation in these stocks? by preventing wider investor participation? Finvasia clients facing such issues are & will place orders through other brokers! Finvasia can't impose what their clients can / cannot buy. There are certain good stocks in these groups & why Finvasia clients are denied buying them, when exchanges have not given any such directive ?
This certainly is not Finvasia's risk management issue as any orders can be placed only if funds in client account!
Action like these only invite bad reputation to Finvasia and makes investing community suspect the motive behind such decisions.
Hi @A4apple,
We've revised our RMS policy for ASM shares and it is as follows:
ASM: Only CNC orders allowed. Intraday orders are blocked.
GMS: No Trading allowed.

Thanks

Every broker allowing trading in Crude except you guys.

Blocking Crude from doing swing trading ok but why you are not allowing intraday also?
so @Finvasia saying that there RMS not good enough to handle intraday volatility.
or maybe you guys loss heavily during Crude episode & not admitting it.
