My problem is little trickier and even technical..

Scalpert runs on port 3000 ( as told by ur technical team) , now the problem is my ISP has that port reserved for video conferencing and they wont allow me to have that port open.

NEST requires a lot of ports to be opened, this goes even tougher for me to get any port open as my ISP is very strict with security issues.

Can't u make a simple web platform like Zerodha kite or upstox (which actually runs fine on that same ISP ) which doesnt require any special ports to be opened and can connect via port 80 or 443 ?? As it is Scalpert is not that amusing either, it has its own issues.

If u cant do this, then i will be forced to switch to some other broker which can run on my ISP without any special permissions.

Dear Finvasia, is it beneficial to convert Intraday Option trades done in NRML as MIS to save on Exchange Transaction Tax, STT etc? Or charges on Options are similar for Intraday or Carry segment? Thanks.

sub: intra day cash stocks trading
If I have a cash margin of say ₹5 lakhs with you & day traded CASH STOCKS say ₹7 lakhs buy & ₹7.03 lakhs sell & all closed out by 3.20 pm as all trades done in MIS mode.
Under new margin rules, will have a penalty ? next day my margin for trading will be 5.03 lakhs or less?
when penalty kicks in ?
note : no futures, no options just cash equity buy & sell.

What is the MIS margin for trading Banknifty future intraday??? And if cover order is available, what will be the approximate margin for trading a single lot of bank nifty??? pls let me know as I am thinking of opening an account with finvasia. Presently I am with zerodha....

I trade in Finvasia only thro android app most of the time. It works ok.If it does not show open orders etc ,then hurriedly I open Nest. Nest is mostly stable. My laptop with extra large TV display struggles if I open more than 2-3 apps. I run trading view (free still)charts in firefox. TV chart with 3 library setups is a must for me. Next I run Zerodha candle volume chart +CPR+ volume profile in chrome. In zerodha I trade delivery stocks .whatever stock Iam struck by 3pm but think it will come back next day or like to hold for few days , I convert from MIS to CNC by 3pm. (hence much bigger capital in zerodha) In Finvasia stocks only trade intraday under MIS.( but currency futures & Silvermicro (safest in silver as loss is limited due to zero leverage)always under Normal mode&hold overnight or for a few days). I place lot of antipatory AMO orders in zerodha between 8-8.30am & react to orders executed. As you can see Iam not a break out trader ,i trade only tracements .In finvasia trade watching 1/3 min tradong view charts & buy/sell for small profits /loss (see trend at 9.15am-9.45am High- low ). Iam yet to muster courage to trade equity index futures & burnt my fingers trading equity index/ stock options due to lot size. Though margin not a problem, sticking to cash equity as Iam yet to get confidence in my set ups. (only trading for 4-5 months now)

Not long ago according to Finvasia but this much time has elapsed since ScalperT is updated. Every few minutes someone keeps login in (?), we place order and it doesn't go through, ScalperT in bid shows 100, 101, 99, 102, 98 and ask shows 98, 103, 97, 104, 92 (!) for 5 best rates quoted, you place AMO a day before but it executes only after 30 seconds to 1 minute. Bro, who is CSR here for Finvasia, we totally understand your situation. But is it so hard to convince Finvasia owners to get a good developer for updating app? If can't update, just copy from something which works and pack it as yours, even Mukesh bhai is doing the same. Charge us but please update crap ScalperT.

Same with me. really got fed up with scalpert. Had to move to nest. FINVASIA please do something abt it.
