I happen to sit in front of the commodity terminal for the past few weeks and have realised the following things.
Rule 1 Never ever trade in commodity without stoploss order
Rule 2 Never forget rule no 1.
Apart from these i can suggest that make sure you know well the commodities u wanna trade in and you are in touch with spot prices and their movements and try using the hedging staregies as much as possible.
