Extremely low volumes on Dow

Yesterday the volumes very the lowest I have ever seen. Anyone know why?

Which volume are u talking about ? Is it of Dow futures or the spot market?

If you chk the historic data of Dow on y a h o o site, yesterday's volumn was 7.3 billion which is normal as other days, it is 7.4 billion, 6.9 billion etc.

Low volumn means lack of participation means, more people waiting on the sideline for some trend to emerge.

I get my data from yahoo. Is it wrong?
the ticker symbol is ^DJI
