Doubts on pivot trading

POSTED WRONGLY IN TRADE STRATEGIES SECTION....REPOSTING HERE

While using any pivot trading strategy for day trading...any pivot trading startegy....what is to be done when the prices are no where near the pivot ranges as per calculation.....especially during gap ups or downs.My doubt is....is it a no trade day...or is one to calculate the levels afresh based on the present prices....
