Columbusji, can you please take a look at the following video of the IndiaInfoline TraderTerminal (TT) and point out the pros and cons (feature wise) compared to the Sharekhan TradeTiger (TT). Since they are refusing to give a demo account for testing purposes I am not able to figure out if there are any major drawbacks or advantages of one over the other.

Other users, please go through the demos below and post comments.

Thank You for your time.

Hi Lazytrader,

I will go through the DEMOs later on.

Since I am working on Sharekhan ,I will give my recos on TT.
Their charting software is very good .But the drawback is slow rate of
refresh of quotes.Sometimes a difference of 10 points in Nifty Futures or even more is
seen.I am not quite clear it is a problem associated with my computer (lack of memory) or
inherent problem.I wrote to sharekhan many times but the response is lukewarm
Their advice is to change the Server Number I am using.

If people working on other 2 systems give their valuable opinion ,it will be
so nice.

I would like to hear your recos on IndiaInfoline's TT(TraderTerminal as they call it) since you would be in a good position to compare it to Sharekhan's TT.

I don't see a lot of difference except that Sharekhan allow MCX and Mutual Funds as well. When you have time please go through the video and let me know if you see any significant difference.

PIB is by far the best platform that I have worked on.... and by a large margin.

Ease of use, ease of execution, bla bla bla..... only drawback is their security key, its a hassle, but its for our own good, so you learn to tolerate it
Security key for every trade is a big problem if you trade intraday and if there is huge volatility it becomes unreasonable. While I do appreciate the trouble they are taking unless it is made optional I feel they would start losing day traders to other brokers. Imagine what would happen if the battery runs out :D

Can you please post a screenshot of the charts (with drawing tools and indicators).

Thanks.

5paisa appears to be good.If anybody using 5paisa gives feedback ,it will be nice.
I am bothered about the refresh rate of the quotes. My question is ,ARE YOU ABLE
TO EXECUTE THE ORDERS AS SHOWN ON MARKET WATCH?

Hi..

I'm using Power Indiabulls Platform...It's a nice one..The order's get executed very soon and the charting is good too..I would recommend PIB for a Intraday trader but for EOD it's not good.

The problem with Indiabulls is the brokerage...They are charging me 5 paise for Intraday and 30 paise for Delivery..But their service is above average and customer care is very helpful.

Here are the indicator's which come with PIB...there are a lot of them.

Thanks for the pic. The number of indicators are mindblowing. Can the brokerage is way too high. I am mainly in futures and from reports I feel .03% should be be the the max for derivatives.

Why do you say it is not good for EOD?

Does anyone know of any broker that allow formulae? Simple ones to mark crossovers would be helpful enough. It is better than peeling your eyes to check if there is a crossover after every candlestick.
