Demat Account: Where to Open?

I want to do Online Trading and I need a Demat Account for this.
I am Confused, where to open it.
I have a Salaried account in ICICI.
What's the Adv in Opening it in ICICI?
Is there any other Option where I would get it for Cheaper Price?
Pls help me in this regard.

There are many Brokers that offer demat services. you can open account with UNICON, a well known broker firm in India. You can also be download a list of demat service providers and their addresses from the SEBI website. You can either choose a stock broker or a bank or a financial institute, depending on their charges.
