Delete the data other than quote editor

Dear experts here,

I would like to overwrite the data which is import using ASCII into the stocks. However, subsequently, I find that there are some errors for many stocks(say all 1000 stock for 1 day). So I would like to overwrite the same date data using the same method "import from ASCII" to overwrite the wrong data. but it seems it fails to overwrite even i import again.

imported to amibroker already: (error)
0001.HK,120.1,121,120.0,120
0002.HK....

replaced by another csv file:
0001.HK,120.1,121,120.0,121
0002.HK....

Please advise any method other than using the quote editor.

Or the other usage is about I update the EOD stock data during lunch break and use amibroker, and then after the end of the day, I will update the EOD stock data again by overwriting. as I do not have live feed and in fact, I do not need o use live feed as I need to work. please advise. thanks

In this scenario instead of overwriting you can do a simple process .

Go To Tools -> Customize -> Select Keyboard Tab

Now there you will find a Drop Down Menu Under CATEGORY:

From that menu choose EDIT ---- Scroll Down & Find Delete Session .

Now give any key as a shortcut in the box under " Press New Short Cut Key"

After this press the Assign Button right to the Box under Key Assignments.

Now you will have a Short Cut Key to delete a session in all Symbols.

I am supposing that you are referring to a Daily Chart.

Now in Chart of any single symbol go to that particular Day's Quote - click to select that Quote with the marker [vertical] line.

Press the shortcut Key which you assigned for Deleting the session. You will be prompted to Delete the quote.from All symbols. Choose Yes . This Quote will then be deleted simultaneously from all symbols.

After this import the data for that particular day through ASCII

Thanks first. That is what I want BUT is there still any other ways to do so? Say by enable overwrite function when importing from ASCII?
