Mainly due to the lack of liquidity due to the FII participation I believe.
Usually this is christmas/vacation period and offices would be usually with low attendance.(Atleast with IT companies this was the case - where we Indians would slog while they enjoy their vacations :annoyed.

Gap - partially filled .
Vadivelu is class apart from Santhanam.
His body language,slang,voice modulation,Behaviour - no match.
Offcourse Vivek to some extent comes close to Vadivelu in these aspects.

Santhanam's salary - 15 Lakh per day .

never filled gap for one to other. each of have own manarisam, and talent. no one compared to others.
