News reports indicate only 3000 or so Omicron cases detected in India. This is absurd.
~60% of samples tested are Omicron cases. And only a limited number of samples are sent for genome testing.

Extrapolating, India is reporting at least 60,000 Omicron cases everyday.

Time to Add TCS .... Remember what happened to INFY 's price after buyback.

@Smart_trade Sir,
I have done some analysis for long term investments(5-10 yrs). Being a slow learner, it took me couple of months to analyze companies fundamentals and technical. Pls find sometime to give your inputs.

Reasons for selecting stock are:
Transparent management
Good business model
Consistent profit growth over atleast 5 years
Consistent growth in price over atleast 5 years
Not much government intervention
Market leaders

Backtest Results:
I have selected multiple market scenarios and tried to compare how my portfolio performed compared to Nifty. It performed pretty decently. I am sure i would have missed some smaller details - if someone can pin point that, i will be glad to incorporate it in my next post.

My questions are:
1. Is there any stock which you feel is incorrect in my list and should be avoided.
2. Any stock which u think is good, but is missing in below list.
3. I prefer to invest every month whenever there is a dip in Nifty and rest end of month. Is there any better way of investing ?
4. What is an ideal percentage of money that should be divided between mutual fund and below custom stock portfolio ?

Good work....I am answering your questions below :

1) Your stock list is great......15-20 stocks are enough...
2) There are few more good stocks like Tata Elxi,Persistant systems etc but we cannot buy all the good stocks....so dont bother about them, you already have list of good stocks.
3) In every dip you buy.....ideal situation is buy heavily when Nifty is down more than 25 % from the top......but such 25 % corrections one does not get too often.
4) In large caps one should be 100 % in stocks portfolio. In mid and small caps, one could be 40 % in stocks and 60 % in mutual funds...That is as per my risk tolerence...everyone will have different percentages as per his risk tolerence.

Good luck....
