download nifty spot data o,h,l,c in a excel sheet. write formula in adjacen sheet abs ((c-o)/o*100) > 0.5 then we have 0.5% gap....

it would be good if you can learn to write simple formulas in excel. Use google search to learn it.

Any body having a list of Gap days in NIFTY FUT/SPOT ?! If any body is having the list can you please share the list here. Or any pointers where i can get that info.

In my experience fall doesnt happen in one side. It happens over a period after a lot of falls and big green days. Markets always moves with trend followed by pullback. Even if markets are moving down we should have good green days too.

Volatility in our market has come down considerably. I had to change my trading method to some extent to include this.
