Question could be, who booked profit from their holdings yday

I think you are analyzing Nifty futures chart. If we don't use volume then Nifty spot chart is more accurate. Right?

@option buyers.... little careful option premiums are inflated on both sides which may cool off by closing..

you are right. NS is better to use but I am not comfortable switching between chart. so use NF chart as I trade it.

Under performance by banks is astonishing. if we do not see any recovery in banks then we are gonna stagnate on index level atleast.
