Just indo-china standoff like dokalam etc or china upto some serious mischief ?
China all over news.
First it was trade war with US. Then coronavirus.
Now china increasing hold over hongkong. its parliament passed the security law.
China sent two warship near taiwan. chinese PM says its time taiwan to become part of china. In response US sent three warshipships in protection of taiwan.
Chinese incursion in four places along india border from laddakh to sikkim.

Diverting attention is only 1 of the issues. Some leading US economists have mentioned that it is clear that Chuna is No 1 economy in terms of output, technology, etc. From emerging, they have proved themselves as emerged as leader. Even though, Coronavirus started in Chuna, and many doctors there were clueless on the spread and nature of the disease, Chuna has got the same under control In March.

Other countries like USA, Europe and India have yet to fix the problem even after so many months of notice. India is still fighting internal politics while Chuna is moving ahead. None of the companies moved from Chuna to India as expected, instead they moved to Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam.
I'm not in favor of Chuna but seeing from independent angle, we must accept the facts and improve ourselves.

Axis Bank, Ceat, Bata seem to be shorting candidates today.

I was wrong on Ceat. But luckily did not trade in it.

Went long on Tata Elxsi and exited in profit. Also shorted Axis and exited in profit.

Morning session is over. Now let the markets settle for further clues.

All this China thing reminds me of 70s and 80s when "foreign hand" and "CIA conspiracy" were used to divert attention from the local problems.
