CE and PE rates are based on spot price or future price? Especially on expiry day.

trading prices of ce/pe will correlate with futures on all days.

On expiry day- As future will converge with spot, there is no separate future and spot on closing basis. So you can say that options correlate with future price or spot price is same.

there are exceptions you may find to this in practical trading. But dont complicate your understanding with excess info at this point. its simply future-ce-pe.
