hey Guys, not sure if this is the correct place to ask but I'll go ahead. I really like the tradingview's paper trading interface where you can clearly see the R:R ratio and place sl and entry and target orders all at the same time. Is there something available with Indian brokers or something similar with other brokers outside India that we can use with Indian exchanges. Thanks
TradingView charting is offered by many top discount brokers like zerodha and Upstox which I am aware of.

Cardi B explains why she 'drugged and robbed' men

Cardi B, is an American rapper, songwriter, television personality, and actress.

Cardi B has defended herself after a video resurfaced of her saying she drugged and robbed men who wanted to have sex with her while she worked as a stripper before finding fame.

The rapper faced criticism after the three-year-old Instagram live video recirculated on social media.

"Whether or not they were poor choices at the time, I did what I had to do to survive," she wrote on Tuesday.

"I never claimed to be perfect or come from a perfect world."

The original video was made as her career was starting to take off and was her response to someone who said she didn't deserve success because she hadn't put in any work.

"Nothing was handed to me. Nothing," she said in the video, before going on to reveal that she would invite men to a hotel before drugging and robbing them.

In response to the furore, she wrote on Instagram that she had been talking "about things in my past right or wrong that I felt I needed to do to make a living".

She added: "I'm a part of a hip-hop culture where you can talk about where you come from, talk about the wrong things you had to do to get where you are."

'I had very limited options'
The Grammy-winner also pointed out that there are rappers who "glorify murder, violence, drugs and robbing".

She wrote: "I never glorified the things I brought up in that live [video], I never even put those things in my music because I'm not proud of it and feel a responsibility not to glorify it.

"I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options."

Cardi B ended the statement by explaining the men she referred to in the old video were men she dated or was involved with, and were "conscious, willing and aware".

Sounds familiar, have we heard a similar story in Bollywood too...?

Why didn't Tata Motors start manufacturing cars before Maruti?

htt ps://www.face book.com/Dr.ShashankjShah/videos/1334043600318744/

Tata Motors is among the oldest and largest manufacturers of commercial vehicles (trucks) in India. There were times when they had ~75% market share with #customers willing to wait nearly 10 years for getting a #Tata truck.

In such a scenario, why didn't Tatas start manufacturing passenger vehicles (#cars) before Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., currently the #marketleader in the passenger car segment? While the historic #Maruti 800 entered the Indian markets in 1983, #TataMotors started manufacturing cars, their first one being Indica, only in late-1990s.

Was it a lack of #vision? Lack of #engineering competence? A conscious decision as part of their organizational #strategy? Or lack of a customer-centric approach?

They were originally not founded as automobile manufacturers. It used to be TELCO - Tata Engineering & Locomotive Company. For trucks they had a tie up with Benz and the trucks were called Tata Benz. They came into their own from their 1979 IPO, which is also known as the beginning of India's stock market's modernization. I think Sensex index was also founded in 1979. It seems that this company got into automobiles as an afterthought - or of leading circumstances.

Maruti, OTOH, was a dream project of Sanjay Gandhi and got all the necessary government clearances in double time.

 everyday i learn something new :)
I didn't know about the red tape in detail about Tata trucks until i saw this video.

Just trying to imagine how they( Tata truck company employees ) felt with a 10yr waiting period for a truck and a production limit imposed on them.
What I mean is "why" ? this kind of demand has nothing to do with being socialist, communist or capitalist.

There was a waiting list for everything - Scooters : My father purchased a Bajaj Chetak in 1986 after a 18 months waiting list, that too because he paid in foreign exchange (dollars through my uncle in USA). Gas connections had years of waiting list, as did telephones. Everywhere the waiting list was reduced if you arranged payment in foreign exchange. There was upto 25% premium if you wanted to sell your new vehicle. The gas cylinders could command upto 100% premium.

The youngsters today don't really have any idea how far we have travelled in the last 50 years. Good of someone to bring up history.
