Not really, they are preparing for the state elections coming up later on. If Cong is seen with the saffron parivar in Maharashtra, it may hurt them in those elections. SS can BJP can re-marry after a year or so.

It's all due to bad policy. First they didn't gave tickets to existing seating MLA's. Most of them fought alone and won as Independent. Or at least took lion's share of votes with them (32 Independents were runner ups, along with 2 NOTA)

Importing MLA's from NCP took toll as well beside sharing seat with SS too.
