Dave's Unique Ichimoku-Renko Approach

I will be posting some charts showing the use of Renko Bars and Ichimoku along with Fibonacci. I will be happy to share the knowledge I have acquired and perhaps someone else with benefit from using this chart setup.

EURUSD moved past the swing high and this has resulted in a tidy profit.

GBPJPY went into the Ichimoku cloud and bounced out, a nice profit from the breakout.

I have closed both of these as it is the weekend.

I am interested in the USDJPY pair at the open today considering that the Japanese election is finished and that may impact the Yen.

Looking at the very last candle there seems to be some indecision as to direction as at the close.

I look forward to the open.

Here is a chart that shows how strong the Ichimoku cloud can be. This is a chart of Gold, a 30 minute chart and you can see that the Ichimoku cloud is providing significant resistance to any move upwards.
