Datafeed to Multicharts

#2
Is there any data vendors to feed Multicharts other than Esignal for NSE ?
or is there any way to feed Multicharts ?
NO. There isnt any other data vendor . I have requested IQFeed to add NSE equity and currency futures. More people send request to IQFeed to add and when they will see interest from investors and traders then they will add NSE.
send email with request to add NSE of India to [email protected]

Do you think IQfeed will charge less than Esignal ?
Of all the markets over the world. Most data providers like Bloomberg,CQG,thomson reuters...etc. None of them consider NSE has a market to be profitable. I checked with some of them. They say they don't have enough people to subscribe to the NSE/MCX exchange hence it of no use for them to pay exchange fees when there are no or few customers.

Even Global data feed had to shut down Cash segment because of the same reason. So if an Indian provider is finding it difficult to run a business providing real time data , surely international business will have no interest, although esignal is an exception.

And to add to that just look at most people here, everyone wants either free or very cheap data providers and there is a illegal market for that(MT4 & ami data providers). These illegal data providers give incorrect and unreliable data and make profits from it.

Hopefully one day things will start to change...but that day is very far...:(

you are also forgetting one thing. the exchange datafeed cost is very high and their pricing model is faulty.
Exchange should charge one time cost to vendors who want to subscribe for the initial implantation of the datafeed and there by no recurring charge or very minimal recurring charge per year. and then charge money based on the number of real subscriber.

Vendor should expose the exchange charge transparently to the users.
Vendor should charge their fees + Exchange fees.
All fees should be per segment. No individual instrument pricing to avoid complexity and confusion.

e.g say for NFO segment NSE can charge 2500 + 2500 by vendor = 5000
All entire segment should be provided.

As more and more people join the price should be lowered .

This will create lot of data vendors without worrying about how many customer they have to cover their running cost.
