The bank primarily operates in four business areas which are SME Banking, Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking and Treasury Operations.

CSB bank has a wide product range offering salary, savings & current account, fixed deposits, gold, agricultural, & vehicle loans, trading & investment of securities, asset-liability management, etc. Watsa's Fairfax India Holdings (FIH) corporation has a 51% stake in the bank.
