I think, like one member here said, the most vulnerable ones are the most needy of a vaccine to protect them. Like people aged above 50-60, people with chronic diseases and ill health, respiratory diseases, etc.. If we can list them as primary category, we can go in steps. All the 134 cr may not need vaccine in the first step i think, as healthy people would evolve against the infection, they might need antibiotics only. But we need to protect the vulnerables. If covid patient has pre-existing illness and/or of old age, they should be considered primary category.

When our own vaccine is available, govt should distribute it for free for everyone.

Dogs Deployed at Helsinki Airport Can Detect COVID-19 With Almost 100% Accuracy 25 SEPTEMBER 2020

Passengers alighting at Helsinki Airport in Finland starting from earlier this week will have a speedier - and much fuzzier - way of getting tested for COVID-19.
A team of dogs has been deployed to fill their snoots with eau d'arriving passenger to sniff out those infected with the virus behind the current global pandemic.

If successful, the pilot scheme could help provide a more efficient method of detection that could be used in a range of scenarios.
"We are among the pioneers," said airport director Ulla Lettijeff of aviation company Finavia.

"As far as we know no other airport has attempted to use canine scent detection on such a large scale against COVID-19. We are pleased with the city of Vantaa's initiative. This might be an additional step forward on the way to beating COVID-19."

For people with allergies, or fear of dogs, there's no reason to worry. The passengers will have no direct contact with the canine COVID-19 detectives.

The test is performed from a wipe that is swiped on the passenger's skin, and placed in a cup. In a separate booth, the dog will sniff the sample. If the dog detects COVID-19, they will make a physical sign.

Why the dogs can detect the virus is not entirely clear. However, a recent French study found that dogs trained to smell the difference between armpit sweat from healthy people and those with COVID-19 could do so with 95 percent certainty.

In India we have a lot of dogs on our streets but nobody can make use of them..

Today everyone think about money first. yes money is important and accountable, but then there's something called meaning. What's the meaning of all that we are doing? years ago a thought came to my mind which i shared on my then social profile: How sad it is that we strive the whole life to make things ours', only to be ended up knowing that we own nothing, isn't it?..

We actually own nothing, not even the sand beneath our foot.. What gives this life meaning then? Well that's a question you'll have to find out with your life, so that at the end, looking back, you know you definitely have something to take with yourself..

India is going dangerous path - cases have dropped from 96K odd to 70k odd now due to drop in testing per day... (it use to be 1.2 mil-1.3 mil test a day, now its reduced to 700k).
Sahi kaha siddhant sir... kal mai bhi "relief and congratulatory" comment karne wala thha, before checking the number of tests done... I rechecked because I've been wrong twice already in this thread... having said that, about 8-10% positivity is a constant, even though some claim that 60% have already infected and hence herd-immuned... doesn't add up...
