Clarification on ex-bonus date and record date

I need clarification on elegibility criteria for bonus shares. I purchased 10 shares of L&T on Sept 29th in an online trade. I checked my dmat account on 3rd Oct. The shares were not deposited. My query is: what date is considered for issuance of bonus shares? Ex-bonus date or Record date?

For considering for Bonus Issue, The shares must be in your name on the Record Date.
Means you should have sharebalances in your demat account on the Record date then only you will get benefited.

As in your case you should have the sahres in your demat account in the third day normally ie, on 1st OCT. Call your broker and complaint.
