Is it possible to download historical data for a particular stock preferably in a text file ?
For e.g in yahoo finance site, you can download the historical prices for a stock in a csv file format. The same can also be downloaded automatically by writing a small program.
Just wondering if there is any other site like yahoo which does something similar.
Another related question can I directly retrieve stock information from NSE by using or by creating my own software ? Is it free or paid ?
Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
