calculating profit in put option buying

#1
Suppose I have bought Put option of Canara bank with following details
Expiry-28 may 2020
lot size -2600
spot price-81
strike price 80
premium price-9.2
Total amount paid-2600*9.2=23920
Current market price -81.5 premium is at 8.5 for 80 strike currently

How do I calculate break even for this trade
How much will be my profit it I sell it off at 78 market price
How much will be my loss if I sell it at 80

How should I calculate the profit for the trade

you trade 'premium' in options. So whatever is current premium minus premium you paid will be your profit/loss

Your profit or loss will depend on the premium of the strike rate at the time you sell. AFAIK there is no way to calculate future premium in reality. Theoretically, you can.

Donn;t worry of profit / loss while in trade . always calculate break even points
https://zerodha.com/brokerage-calculator#tab-equities
use that

Best way is
Look at bank statement how much money u putted
and how much money now u have left thats your profit / loss

and if u are with discount broker then points of R.s 0.5 be enought
your breakeven for put of price 9.2 be only R.s 9.4 or R.s 9.5 so........
