As a person these books changed me
Three books changed my outlook at least for the time being.reading of all
these books happened in my younger days. After quiting a private job ,on my returning
to my home,as i have no engagement ,i liked to read something. So i purchased
a small book valued Rs:20/- from an open book center. The book was written
by OSHO(I am not remembering the name). He narated the spiritual aspect and the benefit of meditation in a simple
way as even a child can undrstand. As i have no particular engagement other
than siting idle ,i thought i want to sit for meditation and thus i began the
siting for meditation to happen.Even though the Meditation i practiced had no theoratical basis, i benefited by it a lot.

The second book was also written by Osho(I am are that).I had a love affair with a relative
girl. But her parents did not favoured the relationship, because i had no job.
So with the broken heart i went to a nearby public library and took a book of
Osho and red it completly. After reading it my whole thought has changed.
I had then no sorrow.I realized that the world is so wide ,so i should not
think so narrowly.

The third book was the famous "Yogavasistam".I actualy red only two chapters.
It was enough for my small life.Though i red only little ,i got some glimbes, that the
life is a fiction only.It is the creation of the mind to a wast exstend. If the mind is
absent then there is no world and thus no sorrow.

Reading Alice Schroeder's The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life and The Intelligent Investor by Ben Graham was a turning point.

I also enjoyed reading

Hedge Hunters by Katherine Burton,

The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine by Michael Lewis,

and of course, The Market Wizard series by Jack D. Schwager. :)
