best funds for short term

What are the best funds to invest for very short term (1-3 months).
Most of the liquid funds and ultra-short term funds available are for institutional investors who invest large sums.

I am looking for options better than fixed deposits/savings account, ideally without entry/exit loads.Please suggest

There are liquid and ultra short term funds for retail investors too. There are a couple of schemes from HDFC and DSP Blackrock which are for retail investors in the Liquid funds space. Check them out

One rule to remember is to look for funds with a large corpus when you are looking for a liquid fund.

Kotak Floater, Taurus Liquid, JM High Liquidity, Religare Overnight fund, Union KBC Liquid Fund, Peerless Liquid Fund.... all these schemes have an AUM of above 2000 crore and have been giving almost 9.45-10% returns in past 1 yr.... (do check their portfolios before investing..)
