hi traders

thanks for voting. Keep the votes coming. Also would appreciate ur experiences with brokers, good or bad. I would also like to know the brokerages rates, software, services etc. Provided by different brokers. I went thru many similar threads, but the information provided is not updated like rates etc.

If u can specify why u prefer a particular broker, it would be very helpful. I m from mumbai n i hav an account with sharekhan currently. Their service is good, but brokerage is high, currently 50 p n 10p for del n intraday each side. Also i hav not tried their trade tiger software. Has anybody used it. They hav 3 amc schemes with fixed brokerages. Has anybody got lower brokerages by negotiating with them.

Cheers
yes brokerage can be negotiable if ur volume is high it can come to 3 paise for intraday and 35 paise for delivery.amc scheme is good, brokerage will be less .get scheme of 6000 amc.bye

Angel & religare provides odin diet software & its really good software. way2wealth also have very good service & professional management, never heard any kind of cheating issue abt them.

lazytrader, can you suggest me a better brokerage for trading in options? I am planning to start intraday on options, doing now with sharekhan (Rs.70/lot - total Rs.160 with all taxes) seems very costly for trading in options.
According to me, RK Globals option brokerage is chip.
It is Rs 9/- per lot one side with taxes extra.

The Brokerage Structure for the Options Transaction will be as follows:

Script Name - Nifty 50

Action - BUY
Lot Size - 50
Strike Price - 3100
Premium Price - say,20
Total Premium - 1,000
Total Turnover - 1,56,000

Brokerage Flat -Rs 9/- per lot
Service Tax -(10.30%)= 0.93
STT = Nil
NSE Charges - (0.071%)= 0.71
Service Tax on NSE - (10.30%) = 0.073
Other Charges - (0.00225%)= 3.51
TOTAL (Rs) =14.22

Action - SELL
Lot Size - 50
Strike Price - 3100
Premium Price - say,25
Total Premium - 1,250
Total Turnover - 1,56,250

Brokerage Flat -Rs 9/- per lot
Service Tax -(10.30%)= 0.93
STT -(0.017 % on premium amount)=0.21
NSE Charges - (0.071%)= 0.88
Service Tax on NSE - (10.30%) = 0.090
Other Charges - (0.00225%)= 3.52
TOTAL (Rs) =14.63

Therefore,Total Brokerage on Buy and Sell=Rs28.58/-
