I select stock which has Open=High or Open=Low. I trade in the direction of Nifty. Time-frame is 3 mins. I take position by 9.21 AM (exactly) which is by the end of 2nd three mins candle. Stop loss is tiny bit above the day's high (in case of short). Target is when price turns (i look for bullish engulfing candle or hammers).

Based on my experience, trading is all about controlling emotions. It doesn't matter what the strategy is, one need to be disciplined enough to follow it no matter what. I lack that discipline. This is the reason for creating this thread.

My aim of this strategy is minimal loss and big profit. I have seen price making massive moves. My aim is to catch such moves (like i did yesterday in infratel which gave me 18% return in a day). I believe i can recover my losses by catching such big moves.

Anyway, nothing is sure in the world of trading. Only time can tell.

Well, after the big reversal you should simply concentrate on having a green day. Maybe you can set other goals after you have accumulated enough green days. It will help in strengthening the psychology.

Good luck.

That is how i blew my account. After seeing red, i end up taking so many trades and made huge loss. To bring discipline i am only going to take 1 trade a day.

Breakout and close of 3 min candle. You only end up with 1 to 3 stocks.
